MY (...) ISN'T WORKING. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

We like to always start our troubleshooting with the easiest/most likely steps, so let's start from step one.

Check and make sure that the (...) is plugged into power. If it is plugged into a power strip then check that the strip is powered on and plugged in.

If everything is plugged in AND power is going to the device, then unplug it, wait 30 seconds, and plug it back in. If it's a device that can't be "unplugged" then turn it off, wait 30 seconds, and turn it back on.

Now try and turn the device back on. Sometimes devices get into an internal loop and just need to be "power cycled."

MY INTERNET ISN'T WORKING. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

First things first.

If you opted in for the "IP Wattbox" upgrade from the start, then this part is real easy, you'll just give it a few minutes and the system will fix itself!

Has your internet been down for more than 10 minutes? If not, give it 10 minutes and check again, then proceed to the below guide, if it's still down.

Can you see your Wi-Fi name? If so, then your issue is most likely at your modem (Sparklight or Centurylink device). Unplug the modem from power and plug it back in. This should resolve the issue.

Is your Wi-Fi name gone? If so, then your internal network (Access Points, Switch, Router) are most likely down. Unplug power from the power strip in your Media Panel (or wherever your internet gear resides) and plug it back in. After 5-10 minutes everything should be back online and you'll be good to go.

If the issue persists, please call/email/text.

MY SAVANT REMOTE IS OFF. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

This can happen from a couple different items.

The MOST COMMON ISSUE is the remote ran out of power. These remotes are very similar to a cell phone and need to be charged every couple days (I personally charge mine every night). If this has happened to you please take it back to its base and give it some time to charge. Then turning it back on is as easy as holding the bottom middle button, the one with braille on it.

Sometimes we forget that the power button (bottom middle button with braille) is just a quick push to power off the TV and we hold this button down. This will turn off the remote. Now you'll just need to hold the power button (bottom middle button with braille) until you see the Savant "S" pop up on the screen.

If the issue persists, please call/email/text.
